I am using a barebones QS install and recently moved to a new Mac and have the latest QS version as of 3/25/10 or so, but I am finding that file names and bookmarks do not appear to be getting added to the QS search index when on my previous computer it was added automagically. For instance, I have a Safari bookmark titled "REX" and it would be the first hit in the QS list if I started typing that. Now it is not even one of the choices if I type "REX" in QS. The same goes for file names, as in ones that would get opened with some other application. Applications themselves come up by typing the first few letters as you'd expect, and it would appear that system files also are making it to the index. I guess it seems that new entries are not getting added. Is there a guide on how to troubleshoot these sorts of problems?
